The Arrows trio (1974-78) members were //ALAN MERRILL (19.02.1951)(lead vocals bass guitar)//PAUL VARLEY (24.05.1952)(drums) // JAKE HOOKER (03.05.1952)(guitar-backing vocals)// A late add-on to the band was TERRY TAYLOR (guitar-backing vocals)// Terry was in the group on the second Arrows T.V. series ('77) as a new band member, but was never on any Arrows releases on record. The Arrows last recording was released in 1976. A little known fact about THE ARROWS. Did you know that they were the group that wrote and recorded "I Love Rock'n Roll" in 1975? Joan Jett liked their song so much, she recorded it seven years later, in '82, and it was #1 for 8 weeks in the USA!! Now, in the year 2001, megastar Britney Spears has released the Arrows classic song on her CD titled "Britney", a #1 album.
